SEIC and NOCK on 10th February 2015 cemented their relationship through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two organizations. It is expected that this MOU will be the foundation for a long and fruitful partnership between SEIC and NOCK. The first venture the two will undertake is the offering of the 'Executive Oil and Gas Course' between March 23 - March 27 at the Strathmore Law School.
The course aims to attract mid-level to senior level professionals operating in the extractives industry in private sector, government and civil society.Speaking after the signing of the MOU, Dr.Luis Franceschi re-iterated the need to develop local capacity by enhancing the knowledge in the extractives industry so as to meet community, government and investor expectations.
